"Army Research Takes Proactive Approach to Defending Computer Systems"

There has been an advancement in the development of moving target defense (MTD) techniques for defending computer systems against cyberattacks by a team of researchers from the U.S. Army Research Laboratory, University of Canterbury in New Zealand, and Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology in the Republic of Korea. The use of MTD can effectively confuse adversaries and increase their uncertainty by actively changing the attack surface that has exploitable vulnerabilities. This article continues to discuss the concept of MTD and the advancement made in this approach by researchers.
