The Historic Inns of Annapolis

The 2012 Moving Target Research Symposium will be held at the Historic Inns of Annapolis in Annapolis, MD, USA, on June 11, 2012. This charming historic landmark inn, located in the heart of downtown Annapolis, comprises three buildings, each within a two- to three-minute walk of each other: the 1727 Governor Calvert House (main building), the 1765 Robert Johnson House, and the 1776 Maryland Inn. Symposium activities will be held in the Governor Calvert House.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Historic Inns of Annapolis at the government per diem rate of $119/per night + tax. The reduced rates are available Sunday, June 10 through Wednesday June 13, 2012, and the rooms have complimentary internet access. Guests choosing to arrive before the symposium or staying after will be offered the best available rate.

The cut-off date for the reduced rate is May 11, 2012. We strongly advise you to reserve your room early. You can reserve your room online or call 800.847.8882. When calling, please mention the special rate for the "NSA MTR Symposium."

Hotel Parking

Parking at the Historic Inns of Annapolis is by valet only. A reduced parking rate has been negotiated for overnight guests and daily symposium attendees, both with in and out privileges. This reduced rate is $10/day. Daily parking for local government attendees is complimentary with approved government ID. Please visit the registration table to have your parking validated or the full fee may apply.

Additional Parking

In addition to street parking, there are numerous alternate parking facilities with the Noah Hillman Parking Garage, located off Main Street, being the closest.

 

Transportation

The Airport Shuttle offers door to door reservation service to The Historic Inns of Annapolis. Arriving passenger's flights are tracked and passengers are met at curbside. Vans carry 7 to 10 passengers.

    Follow Interstate 97 South to Route 50 East (approx. 20 miles). Take Rt. 50 East, to exit 24 Rowe Blvd. Follow Rowe Blvd. towards downtown historic Annapolis. At the end of Rowe Blvd., you will turn right onto College Ave. Follow College Ave. to Church Circle. Go around the circle and make a right onto School St. Follow School St. to State Circle and make a right. Follow State Circle halfway around to the Governor Cavlert House.

    Follow Interstate 395 North to Interstate 295 South (approx. 2 miles). Follow Interstate 295 (approx. 1 mile) to Pennsylvania Ave. Follow Pennsylvania Ave. for a mile to DC-295 North. Follow DC-295 North to Route 50 East (approx. 5 miles). Take Rt. 50 East and follow to exit 24 Rowe Blvd. Follow Rowe Blvd. towards downtown historic Annapolis.
