"Spyware Found on US Hotel Check-in Computers"

A consumer-grade spyware app called "pcTattletale" has been discovered on the check-in systems of at least three US Wyndham hotels. The app secretly took screenshots of the hotel booking systems containing guest and customer information. Due to a security flaw in the spyware, anyone on the Internet can access these screenshots, not just the spyware's intended users. In recent years, several spyware apps have faced security bugs or misconfigurations that exposed device owners' private data. This article continues to discuss findings regarding the spyware found on check-in computers at US hotels.
