NSF Awards $15M in CyberCorps Scholarships to Strengthen Cybersecurity Workforce

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has announced $15 million in new awards as part of the CyberCorps®: Scholarship for Service (SFS) program. This initiative supports students pursuing degrees in cybersecurity and related fields, preparing them for critical roles in defending the nation’s digital infrastructure. The scholarships are part of an ongoing effort to address the shortage of cybersecurity professionals across academia, government, and industry. Recipients receive funding for tuition, a stipend, and professional development opportunities in exchange for public service commitments after graduation.

The newly funded programs span multiple universities and aim to develop a diverse and skilled cybersecurity workforce capable of meeting current and future challenges.
