New Senate Cybersecurity Subcommittee?

As chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Senator John McCain announced that he was going to create a subcommittee on cybersecurity. The chair has the ability to decide on the subcommittees. Cybersecurity was previously dealt with emerging threats and capabilities subcommittee. Senator Lindsey Graham will be the chair of the cybersecurity subcommittee.  One of the goals stated was to help the intelligence community develop policies and standards. They want a consistent response in noting that each cyber attack has a different response. Also they was it to be clear what counts as a cyber attack. Of course, coverage news shows that there are also politics involved in the creation of this subcommitte.
