“Meltdown and Spectre: Data theft hardware bugs affect most modern CPUs”

More details regarding a design flaw contained by modern Intel processors that affect nearly all computers running Windows, Linux, and macOS, have been released by security researchers and companies affected by the major security hole. Further findings reveal that the exploitation of different processor vulnerabilities by attackers could allow them to perform two separate attacks, dubbed “Meltdown” and “Spectre”.
