"Hacking Your Brain(Scan): Security Bugs in EEG Software Open Hospitals to Attack"
Researchers at Cisco’s Talos Intelligence Group have uncovered vulnerabilities contained by Natus NeuroWorks software, which is used in several electroencephalogram (EEG) devices. The exploitation of these vulnerabilities could allow attackers to gain unauthorized access to patient data on EEG devices and systems connected to the hospital network. The NeuroWorks software is also vulnerable to DoS attacks. This article continues to discuss the security vulnerabilities found in NeuroWorks software and cyberattacks recently faced by hospitals.
