A team of researchers have developed a new authentication platform called ReCRED with the support of the European Union. ReCRED is an access system for mobile devices that uses a combination of a short pin, biometric identifiers, and anonymous credentials such as pseudonyms for online account authentication and authorization. The system allows users to link all of their online accounts to their identity, which removes the need to remember different passwords.
