"Bolstering Cyber-Physical Systems Security"

Researchers from Missouri S&T have been awarded a National Science Foundation research grant of almost $1 million in support of developing better protections for a variety of complex cyber-physical systems (CPS) such as electric grids, self-driving vehicles, public water supply systems, and more, that are dependent on computers for operation. The aim of this research is to improve upon the resiliency of such systems against security attacks and malfunctions. This article continues to discuss the vulnerability of CPS to attacks and the research aimed at making such systems resilient to attacks and failures.
