"Vulnerability in mIRC Enables Hackers to Execute Remote Code"
A vulnerability has been discovered in the Internet relay chat client, mIRC, that could be abused by hackers to run code in order to download additional malware. According to security researchers from ProofOfCalc, the three custom URI schemes created by the mIRC app upon installation can be injected with malicious commands by hackers.
