The algorithm allows users to apply a protective filter to their images or videos before uploading them to the internet. Researchers must continue the development of sophisticated methods for disrupting deepfakes. This article continues to discuss recent advances in deepfake technology, the new algorithm created to prevent deepfakes, and the importance of developing more techniques to combat deepfakes.
