"Google Warns of Critical Android Remote Code Execution Bug"
Google's Android security update was recently released and addressed 43 bugs overall affecting Android handsets, including Samsung phones. One critical-severity flaw fixed with this security update was CVE-2021-0316. This flaw was a remote-code-execution flaw in Google's Android System component, which is the core of the Android operation system. This particular flaw could allow an adversary using a specially crafted transmission to execute arbitrary code within the context of a privileged process, according to Google. Another critical severity flaw fixed by this update is (CVE-2021-0313). This flaw was a denial-of-service issue in the Android Framework component, a set of APIs that allow developers to quickly and easily write apps for Android phones.
