"Hackers Disrupt Iran's Rail Service with Fake Delay Messages"

Iran's railroad system recently faced a cyberattack in which hackers posted fake messages about train delays or cancellations on display boards at stations across the country. The hackers posted messages on the display boards such as "long-delayed because of cyberattack" or "canceled." The messages also encouraged passengers to call a phone number belonging to the office of the country's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, for more information. However, a spokesman of the state railway company said the disruption did not cause any problem for train services.
