"Millions of AMD PCs Affected by New CPU Flaw Need To Be Patched ASAP"

AMD has disclosed a vulnerability contained by the AMD Platform Security Processor (PSP) chipset driver. Threat actors could exploit this vulnerability to dump memory pages and steal sensitive information, such as passwords and storage decryption keys. The flaw, tracked as CVE-2021-26333, impacts all Ryzen desktop, mobile, and workstation CPUs. The same flaw also affects PCs with 6th and 7th generation AMD A-series Accelerated Processing Units (APUs) or modern Athlon processors.
