"Organizations Falling Short in Addressing Security Risks"

Ninety percent of IT security leaders believe their organizations are failing to address cybersecurity risks. According to research conducted by Foundry, this perception stems from various issues, including convincing all or parts of their organization of the severity of the risks and believing their organization is not investing enough resources to address risks. Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) technologies are being researched by more than a third of security decision-makers. Zero trust technology and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) are second and third on their radar. Although it is not among the top tools being actively researched, nearly a quarter of organizations have cyber insurance on their radar, and only 23 percent are not interested. Endpoint protection, specifically for laptops, desktops, and servers, is the most popular security solution at 78 percent. This article continues to discuss key findings from Foundry's research on IT security leaders' perceptions regarding how their organizations are addressing cybersecurity risks.
