Over 100 U.S. and international academic research institutions representing the over 120 Principal Investigators (PIs)/Co-PIs, and senior project personnel who conduct S&CC research.

U.S. Federal , State, and Local Government department and agency partners who either provide funding support for S&CC basic research or participating agencies directly in the research. Federal level institutions comprise the NSF Directorates for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE), Engineering (EE), Education and Human Resources (EHR), and Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences (SBE); the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute for Food & Agriculture (USDA/NIFA); the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration (USDoT/FHWA); and the U.S. State Department. As well, one State-level agency and numerous Local Governments and agencies across cities, towns, counties, neighborhoods, tribal jurisdictions – both rural and urban – provide funding support or participate as collaborators directly in the research.
