Workshop Agenda

Thursday, June 2

9:00 - 9:15 AM 3211 EB2 Welcome & Introductions: Laurie Williams & Munindar Singh
9:15 - 11:15 AM 3211 EB2 Making Change Happen - Mary Lynn Manns
You have great ideas but struggle to make them happen. Or, you have a great idea for improving yourself, but, well, you are still struggling with this too. Unfortunately, change is hard. Mary Lynn Manns, PhD will share tools for change leadership. The “patterns” from her two books, coauthored with Linda Rising, Fearless Change (2005) and More Fearless Change (2015) will help you influence others (or yourself), overcome adversity, and encourage people to join your change initiative. Bring your frustrations! You will discover solutions that will allow “powerless leaders” to fearlessly lead change.
Dr. Manns will help us think about achieving tech transfer of our research findings.
