"FutureCon takes the health and safety of our sponsors, partners, and attendees seriously. Over the last two months, as the COVID-19 threat worsened, FutureCon has stayed optimistic about the future of our events. We have closely monitored the situation as it unfolds, awaited guidance from local and federal governments, taken extra distancing and sanitation measures to ensure that our environments were as safe as possible for everyone attending our conferences, and otherwise conducted business as usual. However, we ultimately realize that FutureCon was born out of a belief that the best way to prevent attacks is to mitigate threats in the earliest stages possible. Therefore, with the World Health Organization declaring COVID-19 a pandemic, and with the circumstances surrounding the illness changing daily, we have decided to delay some of our upcoming events.
Your tickets and partnerships will be valid for our rescheduled dates. As there are many events being cancelled, postponed, and rescheduled all over the United States, we hope to be able to work with our venue partners to have new dates for these events solidified in the coming weeks. Your account manager will reach out with more information on these events in the coming days. We appreciate the flexibility our sponsors and attendees have always given us, and ask for your patience with us as we navigate this unprecedented situation that is now impacting every facet of our society."
