"To Better Protect Themselves, Universities Partner on Cybersecurity"

A partnership has been made between Indiana University and four other Big Ten institutions in support of improving upon the detection and monitoring of cyber threats, as well as the sharing of information pertaining to such threats. OmniSOC is a security operation center hosted by Indiana University, which will provide cybersecurity services to four other founding members, including Purdue University, Northwestern University, the University of Nebraska, and Rutgers University. The services provided by OmniSOC include real-time monitoring, detection, and sharing of cyber threats, along with analysis. This article continues to discuss the services and support of OmniSOC.
