"NSA Releases Cybersecurity Tool to the Public"

The National Security Agency (NSA) has released a reverse engineering tool for malware called, Ghidra, which presents a significant contribution to the cybersecurity community. The source code of malware can be examined through the use of this tool to attribute malware and better understand how the malware works and evolves, thus allowing defense approaches to be improved. Since Ghidra is an open source project, any software developer can contribute to its improvement. This article continues to discuss Ghidra in relation to its benefits, release, and potential impact on the cybersecurity community.
