"College Cyber Programs Vary Widely, Researchers Found"

A study conducted by researchers at Washington State University found that higher education cybersecurity programs vary greatly there has been little research on the instructional methods behind their curriculums. The review examined programs at 100 US institutions designated by the National Security Administration as National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity. The researchers discovered that, while the designation specifies educational content and quality, the institutions vary significantly regarding program offerings and the number of cybersecurity-specific courses they provide. This article continues to discuss key findings from the study on cybersecurity programs in higher education.
