"Creating Situational Awareness with Analytics"

Using analytics can help in the development of situational awareness, which is essential to cybersecurity. Roberta “Bobbie” Stempfley, director of the CERT Division at Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute, gave a keynote presentation at the AFCEA-GMU Critical Issues in C4I Symposium, which emphasized the need for humans and machines in the analysis of data to enhance situational awareness.
