Great improvements were made in 2018 pertaining to web encryption. A significant number of websites have adopted HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure) due to the efforts of the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), Google, and more. EFF will continue in its campaign towards encrypting the whole Internet. This article continues to discuss efforts and advancements surrounding web encryption and the encryption of the entire Internet.
