In 2022, the Alliance widened its scope to include app security standards. It is now home to several industry-wide collaborations for malware mitigation and cloud and mobile app security assessments. The hope for future evolution is for members to demonstrate a shared commitment to bolstering app security and related standards across ecosystems.
