"How to Close the Security Update Gap"

ACROS Security conducted a survey to which 340 professionals responsible for security patching responded. The survey asked questions regarding the ways in which the process of security patching could be improved. Respondents showed great interest in being able to quickly remove buggy security patches, apply security patches without needing to reboot an application or system, and more. This article continues to discuss findings of the survey in relation to the desired changes in the security patching process, along with reasons for the security update gap.
