The technique, called EM Eye, which is short for Electromagnetic Eye, can capture video from another person's camera through walls in real-time. Fu and his team tested EM Eye on 12 different types of cameras, including smartphone cameras, dash cams, and home security cameras. The results vary depending on how far away one must be to eavesdrop on these various devices.
