"Kansas, Missouri Collaboration Aims to Improve Regional Cybersecurity"

In support of improving upon regional cybersecurity, agencies in Kansas and Missouri are collaborating in order to develop a strategic framework. The group leading this effort towards improving the cybersecurity of local governments is the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC). Steps that have been identified to be essential in the enhancement of regional cybersecurity include establishing better methods for planning, applying regional communication strategies, developing collaborative training opportunities, creating a shared-services model, and more. This article further discusses the details of this framework in relation to its goals, benefits, development, and support.
