According to a new study on cloud-native security, many cloud adopters do not understand the security risks of moving legacy applications to the cloud, leaving them vulnerable to various cloud-based attacks. Venafi surveyed 800 security and Information Technology (IT) leaders from organizations in the US, UK, Germany, and France. The study explored the top threats and challenges facing cloud-native security. In many cases, cloud-native security lags behind, and there is a lack of clarity regarding who should be responsible for the security function within engineering, platform, and development teams.
