"New Research to Make Digital Transactions Quantum Safe and Twenty Times Faster"

A team of experts, including researchers from Monash University, have developed a method for implementing quantum-safe digital signatures significantly faster, making online transactions quicker and safer. The study developed a much faster way to implement Falcon, a post-quantum digital signature scheme, for Graphic Processing Units (GPUs). According to co-author and quantum-safe cryptography expert Ron Steinfeld from Monash University's Faculty of Information Technology (IT), the world is moving toward quantum-safe computer systems, and Falcon is one of the leading quantum-secure digital signature schemes the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has approved. This article continues to discuss the new research that makes digital transactions quantum-safe and faster.
