"New Resource for Domestic Abuse Survivors Combines AI, Cybersecurity, and Psychology"

Researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology are developing a new software tool powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) to address the understudied area of digital security and domestic abuse. Abusers often use the Internet and mobile technology to broaden the scope of their abuse. However, the small scale of such online attacks has resulted in security researchers paying less attention to them. Courtney Crooks, a principal research scientist, and Sneha Talwalkar, a graduate student, are working to provide domestic abuse survivors with relief by using recent advancements in cognitive security. This article continues to discuss the Georgia Tech researchers's work to bring relief to domestic abuse survivors by building on developments recently made in cognitive security.
