"Pakistani Threat Actors Caught Targeting Indian Gov Entities"

Cisco Talos and Volexity warn that Pakistan-based threat actors have targeted Indian government entities in two espionage campaigns. Since 2018, "Operation Celestial Force" has targeted Indian defense, government, and technology employees with Android and Windows malware. Cisco Talos Intelligence researchers track the threat as "Cosmic Leopard," but found that the activity overlaps in tactics, techniques, tooling, and victimology with "Transparent Tribe," a Pakistan-linked state-sponsored group also tracked as "APT36" and "Mythic Leopard."
