"Predator: Looking Under the Hood of Intellexa's Android Spyware"

Security researchers at Cisco Talos and the Citizen Lab conducted a technical analysis of the commercial Android spyware named "Predator" and its loader called "Alien," detailing its data-theft capabilities and other operations. Predator is a commercial spyware for the mobile platforms, OS and Android, that was developed and sold by the Israeli company Intellexa. The spyware family has been associated with surveillance operations that target journalists, high-profile European politicians, and Meta executives. On infected Android devices, the spyware can record phone calls, gather information from messaging apps, hide apps, and prevent the execution of certain apps.
