"The Problems With Hacking Back"

The Active Cyber Defense Certainty (ACDC) Act was proposed to empower companies to adopt a more proactive approach to handling cybersecurity. The proactive approach would permit companies to hack back into other computer networks for the purpose of preventing cyberattacks, surveilling the activities of hackers, and more. However, the active cyber self-defense approach may present many challenges and risks. This article continues to discuss the self-defense strategy against cyber hackers and the potential problems posed by the strategy, along with other approaches that companies should take to bolster cybersecurity.
