According to DNV, users can still utilize the ShipManager software's offline, onboard functionalities. There are no indications that any other DNV software or data was compromised. Other DNV services are not impacted by the server downtime. DNV provides services to over 13,175 vessels and mobile offshore units, which generated more than $2 billion in revenue in 2021. The attack against DNV is the most recent to impact the shipping industry.
