“Threat Intelligence Collaboration on the Rise”

According to a survey conducted by AlienVault at Black Hat USA 2017, the public sharing of cyberthreat intelligence has increased significantly as the cyberthreat landscape continues to evolve. Cybersecurity is a continuous battle as attackers develop new techniques in the development and launch of cyberattacks, therefore it is imperative that threat intelligence is shared among security professionals and teams. The availability of threat intelligence to security professionals can improve upon cyberthreat response times, thus reducing the severity of cyberattacks. This article further discusses the findings of the survey conducted by AlienVault and the importance of sharing threat intelligence.
