It is located in London and is being setup to protect the UK government from cyber attacks. It is a new part of the GCHQ. Well, it's been operating since October but now its official launched.

Initiatives by the NCSC include free website vulnerability scanning for the public sector, working to take down phishing websites, and encouraging young people to take up careers in cybersecurity.
