In an attempt to fill the federal cybersecurity workforce gap, a bipartisan bill, called the Cyber Security Exchange Act, has been introduced by U.S. senators Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and John Thune (R-SD). The bill would allow the development of a public-private cybersecurity worker exchange program. This article continues to discuss the goal of the Cyber Security Exchange Act, along with the reintroduction of other bills aimed at addressing the federal cybersecurity workforce gap.
