"Zoom Adding Post-Quantum End-to-End Encryption to Products"

Video communications giant Zoom recently announced that post-quantum end-to-end encryption (E2EE) has been added to Zoom Workplace. The feature leverages the Kyber 768 key encapsulation method and is now available worldwide in Zoom Meetings, with Zoom Phone and Zoom Rooms coming soon. Zoom claims it is the first unified communications-as-a-service company to offer a post-quantum E2EE solution for video conferencing. Michael Adams, the CISO at Zoom, said that with the launch of post-quantum E2EE, Zoom is doubling down on security and providing leading-edge features for users to help protect their data. He noted that Zoom continuously adapts as the security threat landscape evolves, with the goal of keeping users protected. Apple recently announced adding post-quantum encryption to iMessage, and HP added quantum attack protection to the firmware of several business PCs.
