Poster/Demo Session Guidance

Thank you for participating in the HCSS 2026 Poster/Demo Session.

This form collects presenter information and your camera-ready abstract. Final poster files will be collected separately closer to the conference.

Poster Specifications

Final poster files will be due Friday, May 1, 2026 via a separate upload form.

Posters will be printed and mounted by the conference organizers.

Requirements:

  • Size: 2’ x 3’ (24” x 36”)
  • Orientation: Portrait or landscape
  • Preferred format: PDF
  • Resolution:
    • 300 dpi at full size, or
    • 600 dpi at half size

Please ensure that fonts are embedded and images are high resolution to avoid pixelation in print.

Poster Templates (Optional)

You are welcome to use the HCSS-branded template, but it is not required. You may modify the layout to best fit your content.

Both light and dark versions are available:

  • Portrait template: dark | light
  • Landscape template: dark | light

Important Dates

  • Program Information & Abstract PDF Due: April 3, 2026
  • Final Poster File Due: May 1, 2026
  • Registration deadline: May 7, 2026
  • 2026 HCSS Conference: May 11-13, 2026

Demo Equipment & Setup

For demonstrations, conference organizers will provide:

  • A small table
  • A monitor
  • An HDMI cable

Presenters are responsible for bringing any necessary adapters to connect their device to HDMI (e.g., USB-C, Mini DisplayPort, etc.).

If you are presenting a demo, please indicate what materials you will need for your presentation.
