"New Golang-based Skuld Malware Stealing Discord and Browser Data from Windows PCs"

Skuld is a new Golang-based information stealer that has compromised Windows systems in Europe, Southeast Asia, and the US. According to Trellix researcher Ernesto Fernández Provecho, this new strain of malware attempts to steal sensitive information from its victims. It searches for data stored in applications such as Discord and web browsers, information from the system, and files stored in the victim's folders. Skuld, shares overlaps with publicly available stealers like Creal Stealer, Luna Grabber, and BlackCap Grabber. It was developed by someone going by the online alias "Deathined" on different social media platforms. In addition to gathering system metadata, the malware can harvest cookies and credentials stored in web browsers, as well as files present in Windows user profile folders, including Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Pictures, Music, Videos, and OneDrive.
