"US Gov Adds Surveillance Firms Cytrox and Intellexa to Entity List for Trafficking in Cyber Exploits"

The US government has placed Cytrox and Intellexa on an economic blocklist for trafficking in cyber exploits. The US Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) added the two surveillance technology vendors to the Entity List for trafficking in cyber exploits used to gain access to information systems. The Entity List maintained by BIS is a trade control list created by the US government. It identifies foreign individuals, organizations, and government entities subject to specific export controls and restrictions due to their participation in activities that threaten the national security or foreign policy interests of the US.
