According to research conducted by Searchlight Cyber, Initial Access Brokers (IABs) on the dark web are increasingly targeting the banking sector. In addition, the dark web intelligence company discovered evidence of insiders sharing information about their organization or being recruited by cybercriminals on the dark web, as well as threat actors conducting infrastructure reconnaissance to target financial service supply chains. The company noted in a new study that these threats also present banks with a significant opportunity.
