The National Police of Ukraine's Cyber Police Department dismantled a massive bot farm, seizing computer equipment, mobile phones, over 250 GSM gateways, and about 150,000 SIM cards. In support of the Russian government and its narrative on the invasion of Ukraine, a gang of more than 100 individuals used fake social network accounts to spread disinformation and carry out psychological operations. The gang operated a bot farm to distribute illegal content, personal information belonging to Ukrainian citizens, and more. The cyber police discovered that the group registered thousands of bot accounts on multiple social networks using special equipment and software.
