"Navigating Generative AI Risks and Regulatory Challenges"

In the second quarter of 2023, according to Gartner, the availability of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), such as OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google Bard, became a top concern for enterprise risk executives. Generative AI was the second most frequently cited risk in Gartner's second quarter survey, making its debut in the top ten. This reflects the rapid rise in public awareness and usage of generative AI tools, as well as the scope of potential use cases. Gartner surveyed 249 senior enterprise risk executives in May 2023 to provide a benchmarked view of 20 emerging risks to business leaders. The report contains comprehensive information on the potential impact, time frame, level of attention, and perceived opportunities associated with these risks.
