Articles on Cognitive Security and Human Behavior in Cyber

Exploring the role of the human in cyber environments requires the examination of cognitive security and human behavior in the cyber realm. Cognitive activities such as decision-making and analytic judgments must be secured in order to prevent humans from making bad judgments in cyber contexts. The security of cognitive activities must be supported through the exploration of vulnerable decision-making processes, restoring trust, and novel methods for bolstering cognitive security. Decision-making is an integral component of human nature that leads to judgments, thus calling for further study. In the examination of human behavior, we must explore how artificial intelligence (AI), humans, and the cyber environment contribute to the decision-making process. As concerns and incidents surrounding modern social-information warfare rise, it is essential that hybrid approaches in which both technological and human elements are considered, continue to be discussed, researched, and developed.
