Welcome to the C3E Workshop Website!
Dear Member of the C3E Community,
This year, in preparation for the fall C3E 2013 Workshop, we are holding a one day event on April 30th at Mitre, McLean, VA C3E 2013. With your help, we will continue to explore the nature of decision-making in cyberspace, thresholds of machine and human decision and action, and ways to improve timely recognition of normal, benign and malicious cyber actions.
Consistent with prior workshops, we intend to focus this year on at least two substantive track areas:
1) Using information processing to navigate cyberspace, and
2) Understanding the consequences of action in defending cyberspace
For the April event, we are again in pursuit of a Challenge Problem that drives out these and other familiar C3E themes, and therefore potentially important analytic methods and visualization techniques for dealing with complex events in cyber security.
Because of your analytical work in areas central to our C3E efforts, we believe your participation will contribute to our preparation for the fall 2013 C3E workshop and help to strengthen the community in these areas of analytic interest. We are limiting overall attendance to the 30 April event in order to focus on specific C3E areas in a time-limited setting.
The 30 April event will convene at the auditorium in Mitre #1, 7525 Colshire Drive, McLean, VA, at 8:30am Wednesday morning and will conclude that afternoon by 5pm. To accept our invitation, use the Registration link at http://c3e.info by 01 April. The C3E Team will be glad to answer any questions you may have about the event.
We look forward to seeing you in McLean, and particularly look forward to your valuable contributions in our efforts to advance the strategic defense of our nation’s cyber infrastructure.
